A very good start by Coleshill saw the man on form, Shaq Leachman-Whittingham score after 3 mintues from a long throw-in by Ben Usher-Shipway and should have been 2 up a few minutes later when a corner was head just wide by Harry Craven.
As the weather turned and the rain arrived, Worcester came back into the game on the 7th minute with a cross into the 6 yard box that left the keeper in two minds and after a touch by a Worcester player put it into the path of Zach Guinan and he deflected it back onto the keeper and into the net.
After 18 minutes Worcester attach down the right wing and some close control got the ball into the box, and just like the first goal, it found its way into the danger area in front of the keeper, another slight deflection keeping it away from the Coleshill defenders but into the path of Elliott Hartley to make it 1-2.
Worcester then made it 1-3 after 35 minutes after stealing the ball off the Coleshill defenders, Worcesters new signing Sopuruchukwu Obieri ran to the edge of the box and a very crisp strike saw the ball fired past the keeper and nestled high in the net at the back post.
Just before half time Ben Usher-Shipway tricked his way into a shooting chance that saw the ball go high and over the bar. Half time saw the more clinical Worcester City leading, although there was enough chances in the game to think Coleshill could find their way back into the game, and so it was.
On 52 minutes the ball found its way to a very open Ben Usher-Shipman who took the opportunity and fired a shot low into the goal to make it 2-3.
A few half chances for both teams saw good opportunties not converted. Worcester saw a cross headed away, Coleshill put a lovely cross just missing the attacker and safely into the keepers arms. Worcester then showed some lovely skills tricking the way forward but the end product went far over the bar.
Ben Usher-Shipman then showed his class again with another perfectly placed freekick onto the head of Harry Craven forcing an excellent save from the keeper who at full stretch managed to deflect the bar past the far post.
Worcester then saw a corner saved a strike, Ideal for the cameraman, saw the ball go wide and high.
The 88th minute saw an Coleshill attack down the right wing played across the pitch and a good chase by Ross Evans saw him get a good touch on the ball taking it away from the defender and into the path of Ben Usher-Shipman who picked out another fantastic cross straight onto the head of the attacking captain Taylor Carter-Byrne to make it 3-3.
Paul Billing said of the performance "Great fight back. Three mistakes gave a very good team a head start, so to come back as we did showed tremendous character. The atmosphere was great and it was brilliant to see the ground with fans in it. The club after the game had a brilliant vibe all in all a wonderful day.
Chris Rabone said "Great character our lads showed beign 3-1 down against a very good side. Could have been all 3 point at the end, phenomenal save from their GK"
Taylor Carter-Byrne was presented with the Man of the Match.
