Coleshill manager Grant Joshua said “Any win at this level shouldn’t ever be taken for granted. Boldmere, I thought outworked us for 55 minutes and it doesn’t matter what level of player you have, if you get outworked then you will concede chances because you’re never in control of the game, we really didn’t control the very well at all today and that was a problem for us. Boldmere, based on the first 50 minutes deserved a point at least today, I was really impressed by their application and desire to put us under pressure. Saying all of that, we have been on the other end of tight games like this today and wether it’s deserved or not we’ve scored two high level goals to take all the points as I have match winners in my side. Boldmere didn’t have the quality to punish us today and we had the quality to put the ball in their net twice and be clinical with our chances so I don’t feel too sorry for them as that’s football. I have to praise the lads for the last 35 minutes. I thought we really showed our experience in the last quarter of the game and we never panicked and our quality shone through with two fantastic goals. Gyasi’s goal to get us level was such a high quality goal, five minutes before that goal we started to find those pockets in between their lines once their energy levels dropped and play forward into areas we couldn’t get into first half. We’ve found a passage of play and it’s ended up with a fantastic cross from Bassit and a top finish from Dan and after that, albeit came late, if there was going to be a winner it was going to be us. We kept knocking on the door with big chances for Evo and Dan’s had another one which he should do better with but we didn’t give up and Ben’s scored a individual goal worthy of winning any game of football, he’s got that quality, he’s a match winner, he’s energy is infectious and I’m really pleased with him, he deserved his goal today. Special mention for Sam Paddock and Mikey Taylor who haven’t been with the group for long, both started and did very well and have given me a nice headache going into our final few games. Evo and Danny also had really positive attitudes coming off the bench and made the difference with their decisiveness and got us control of the game when we needed it. We’re into the final three, and we’re looking to finish as high as we can but we need to be better than we were today. Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good.”
